Security Review Conferen­ces

Established at the 2002 Porto Ministerial Council, the Security Review Conferences are being organized every year by the Chairpersonship. They provide a framework for enhancing the security dialogue between participating States and for reviewing work done in this field by the OSCE and the States.

At these events, the participating States exchange views on issues related to the OSCE’s politico-military dimension, take stock of activities undertaken in this dimension and promote the exchange of information and co-operation with relevant international and regional organizations and institutions. Recommendations produced by the States at the Conferences are presented to the Permanent Council and the Forum for Security Co-operation for further consideration.
