The Annual Security Review Conference (ASRC) was established by the OSCE Ministerial Council in Porto to enhance the security dialogue among OSCE participating States and to review OSCE's security work.
The Annual Security Review Conference (ASRC) was established by the OSCE Ministerial Council in Porto in 2002 to enhance the dialogue on security among the 56 participating States and to review the Organization's security work.
This year's ASRC took place in the Neuer Saal at the Hofburg Congress Centre in Vienna on 27 and 28 June 2006. There were three Working Sessions:
- Working Session I: Role of policing in achieving and maintaining security and stability.
- Working Session II: Challenges in the security environment: politico-military contributions, with emphasis on the proceedings and findings of the Military Doctrine Seminar.
- Working Session III: A coherent approach towards the activities in relation to early warning, conflict prevention/resolution, crisis management and post-conflict rehabilitation.
