Finland

Finland has played an integral role in the OSCE’s creation, hosting the 1973 Conference on Security and Co-operation in Europe (CSCE) that produced the guiding document of the OSCE, the Helsinki Final Act, in 1975. In addition to having chaired the Organization in 2008, it will assume the Chairpersonship again in 2025 to mark the 50th anniversary of the Helsinki Final Act.
