The OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Ukraine (PCU) has donated equipment to the newly established Training Center of the country’s State Environmental Inspectorate. The provided hardware includes a server, computers, interactive whiteboard, projector, loudspeakers and other related items; it will be used for equipping training rooms and strengthening the administrative capacity of the Center.

The OSCE PCU also plans to deliver specialized literature, training materials and other educational tools, related to environmental and radiation security, to the Center. The donations will help in the training of inspectors in the detection and control of radioactive and other environmentally hazardous materials at Ukrainian border points.

This initiative is part of an OSCE PCU-supported project on radiation and environmental security, implemented at the request of the State Environmental Inspectorate of Ukraine and State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
