About
The agenda of the Forum will focus on the following topics:
- Good governance and connectivity in the development of digital economies and societies
- Impact of digital economy in the area of energy co-operation and sustainable economic growth
- Preventing and fighting corruption through digitalization
- Digital era and its impact on comprehensive security
The Economic and Environmental Forum is the main meeting-cycle within the Economic and Environmental Dimension of the OSCE. Its objectives are to identify needs and priorities, to raise awareness and to stimulate the political will of the 57 OSCE participating States in dealing with economic, environmental and security related challenges, to share best practices, as well as to provide a platform for dialogue with representatives of International Organizations, the business and academic communities, and civil society.
In 2019, the First Preparatory Meeting will be followed by a Second Preparatory Meeting on 27-28 May 2019 which will be held in Bratislava, Slovakia. The Concluding Meeting is foreseen in Prague on 11-13 September 2019.
