OSCE Project Co-ordinator supports summer school for law students in Ukraine
Thirty law school students selected through an open competition are taking part in a summer school supported by the OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Ukraine (PCU) that started on 29 July 2012 in Zakarpattia region.
For one week, the participants will follow an intensive programme in international human rights law, rule of law principles, constitutionalism and constitutional rights protection.
Aimed at future legal professionals, the summer school programme focuses on OSCE commitments on the rule of law and human rights and the European legal tradition.
Guided by prominent experts in Ukraine’s constitutional law, the students will also learn to analyse and interpret the provisions of the constitution and international legal acts.
The summer school is conducted within a PCU project to foster human rights and the rule of law in lawmaking practices in Ukraine.
