Investing into professional development of youth, into young professionals’ better understanding of values and tools of democracy and rule of law remains of special value in times of war. The OSCE Secretariat Extra-Budgetary Support Programme for Ukraine together with the country’s Constitutional Court issues a call for application for students and postgraduates from Ukrainian universities and think-tanks wishing to participate in XI Summer School “Rule of Law and Constitutionalism”.
The event will provide an opportunity for up to 30 students to review in details the impact of the war on a variety of issues related to constitutional law, human rights, rule of law, as well as on sustainability of constitutional justice system in Ukraine.
Prominent experts in constitutional law, legal theory and philosophy, European case law will be invited to deliver lectures and presentations as part of the school, including judges of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine, experts of international organisations, justices of foreign constitutional court, renowned local and international scholars and practitioners.
Application for the School is open for students of law, but also those studying other humanities, such as political sciences, sociology, philosophy, and others. The deadline for application is 15 July 2023, by 23:59 Kyiv time.
