OSCE Secretary General Feridun H. Sinirlioğlu was received by Alexander Van der Bellen, Federal President of the Republic of Austria. Secretary General Sinirlioğlu thanked the President for the kind generosity of Austria, as the host nation of the OSCE. They discussed the critical role of the Organization in fostering peace and security across the region. They also recalled the enduring importance of the Helsinki Final Act in its 50th anniversary year and the OSCE’s role as a unique forum for diplomacy, dialogue and cooperative security.
