Awareness-raising efforts supported by the OSCE Project Co-ordinator in advance to local elections in Ukraine on 25 October 2020
It is important for voters to be fully aware of all these changes. Also, recently changed electoral legislation creates need for many participants of electoral processes to upgrade their knowledge on various aspects of elections.
That is why the OSCE Project Co-ordinator supports 288 awareness-raising meetings in local communities across Ukraine, distributes printed materials and invites media to broadcast public service announcements. Election commissioners on the ground can make use of Vyborkom online education system. Also, voters, commissioners and candidates for various offices - can also make use of a chatbot, produced by the Co-ordinator and the country’s Central Election Commission for Telegram and Facebook social networks to get quick guidance and responses to questions they may have.
