2019 is an anniversary year for dialogue and mediation in Ukraine. Five years ago the OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Ukraine initiated activities supporting a culture of dialogue, while the first organizations focused on the development of mediation in Ukraine were founded 25 years ago.
The international conference will sum up the results of application of different dialogue and mediation practices in Ukraine, analyse their effectiveness, enable Ukrainian and international experts to exchange experience as well as formulate vision to further advance dialogue and mediation at a national, regional and local level. The event will welcome international and national experts, representatives of governmental and non-governmental organizations, international organizations, participants of dialogue processes, researchers and scholars.
Speakers of the conference include: Anton Yashchenko, Executive Director of the Office of Reforms of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, Olena Symonenko, Deputy Minister of Health, Oleksii Illiashenko, Deputy Minister for Veterans, Temporarily Occupied Territories and IDPs, Henrik Villadsen, the OSCE Project Co-ordiator in Ukraine, Rachel Williams, Regional Advisor on Conflicts of the Embassy of the United Kingdom, Nikolai Dimitrov, Councilor of the Consular Office of Bulgaria in Ukrain, Inna Tereshchenko, Head of Odesa Regional Group of Mediation, Diana Protsenko, President of National Association of Mediators of Ukraine, Roman Koval, Head of Institute of Peace and Common Ground and other experts.
