OSCE Parliamentary Assembly President Severin visits France

COPENHAGEN, 2 April 2001 - From 3-5 April 2001 Mr. Adrian Severin, President of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, will pay a visit to France. During his stay Mr. Severin will hold meetings with the President of the Assemblée Nationale, Mr. Raymond Forni, the Head of the French Delegation to the OSCE PA, Mr. Michel Voisin and the Chair of the Foreign Affairs Committee, Mr. François Loncle. Mr. Severin will also hold meetings with the members of the French Delegation to the OSCE PA and with Mr. Xavier de Villepin, Chair of the Senate Foreign Affairs and Defence Committee.
Mr. Severin's talks in Paris will focus on recent developments in the OSCE area in general and South Eastern Europe in particular. President Severin and the President of the Assemblée Nationale, Mr. Forni, will sign the Host Agreement for the upcoming 10th OSCE PA Annual Session to be held in Paris 6-10 July 2001.
Mr. Severin MP (Romania), the first President of the OSCE PA from the Central and Eastern European region, represents more than three hundred parliamentarians from the parliaments of the fifty-five OSCE participating States.
