Zagreb summit to focus on implementation of Stability Pact
COPENHAGEN, 8 September 2000 - On Tuesday 12 September 2000 Mr. Adrian Severin, President of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, will deliver a keynote address at the Summit of Speakers of Parliaments of All Stability Pact Subjects in Zagreb, Croatia. The two-day Summit will focus on the role of parliamentarians in the implementation of the Stability Pact on South Eastern Europe. Mr. Severin (Romania), the first President of the OSCE PA from the Central and Eastern European region, represents more than three hundred parliamentarians from fifty-four OSCE participating States.
President Severin will arrive in Zagreb on Sunday evening 10 September and will stay at the Hotel Inter Continental in Zagreb.
