Extrabudgetary contributions
Voluntary contributions to support specific OSCE activities and projects complementing the core budget in support of and the OSCE mandate implementation.
Overview
Extrabudgetary contributions are additional funds for the OSCE to support specific activities and projects complementing the core budget. These voluntary funds help advance the OSCE mandate, across the areas of its comprehensive concept of security. In-kind contributions, such as staff secondments and premises or other, also form an important part of this voluntary support.
Funding frameworks
The OSCE uses flexible funding mechanisms designed to broadly support the Organization for its activities. These mechanisms serve as frameworks that allow donors to contribute financial support and enable the OSCE to respond more flexibly and strategically to emerging needs.
