The “The Best in the Net” guidebook aimed at online journalists was launched on 23 December 2013 in Yerevan. The publication provides both theoretical and practical knowledge on creating high-quality online media, as well as offering guidelines on information security. The publication was prepared by the non-governmental organization Journalists for the Future with the support of the OSCE Office in Yerevan.
The guidebook consists of six parts and covers the impact of online journalism on the dissemination of information, discusses the role of journalists in the digital era and delivers new online formats of providing news. It also covers a detailed review on the boundaries of freedom of expression and the protection of copyright online. The last part of the guide explains how to protect the information on digital devices.
