OSCE says Kyrgyz President Akayev is not on OSCE premises

BISHKEK, 24 March 2005 - The OSCE Chairman-in-Office's Personal Representative for the OSCE States in Central Asia, Alojz Peterle, said on Thursday that press reports that Kyrgyz President Askar Akayev had taken refuge in the OSCE Centre in Bishkek were incorrect.
"President Akayev is not in our offices and we do not know where he is," he said.
