OSCE Chairman-in-Office Cassis and Secretary General Sinirlioğlu to hold joint press conference on Friday 6 February at 17:00 CET

VIENNA, 4 February 2026 – The OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Switzerland’s Foreign Minister and Federal Councillor Ignazio Cassis, and OSCE Secretary General Feridun H. Sinirlioğlu will hold a joint hybrid press conference on Friday, 6 February, following their discussions with Ukrainian and Russian authorities in Kyiv and Moscow this week on efforts to bring the war in Ukraine to an end and on the OSCE’s potential role in contributing to a just and lasting peace.
The hybrid press conference will take place at 17:00 (CET) at the Vienna International Airport VIP Terminal, following the official visits by Chairman-in-Office Cassis and Secretary General Sinirlioğlu to Kyiv and Moscow this week.
Media representatives wishing to attend the press conference either online or in person are kindly requested to register for online participation by 6 February at 12:00 (CET) by using the following link:

Only registered media will be able to participate in the press conference.
A minibus will be departing from the Hofburg (Hofburg Conference Centre, Heldenplatz) at 15:30 (time to be confirmed) to transport media to the venue and will return to the Hofburg following the press conference. Spots must be reserved for the minibus on a first-come, first-served basis. Should media wish to drive to the Airport VIP Terminal themselves, paid parking is available on site.
The press conference will be held in English. Registered participants will receive the Zoom access link and instructions for accessing the venue after registration is closed.
The press conference will be livestreamed on https://www.osce.org/live.
A recording of the press conference will be available on the OSCE You Tube Channel after the event.
