To promote the implementation of the country’s domestic violence legislation, the Office organizes awareness-raising campaigns; holds meetings and conferences to allow for the sharing of best practices in the field; supports a nation-wide hotline for domestic violence victims; and trains staff of shelters for victims. It also helps run a mentoring network for women entrepreneurs.
