Good governance

The Office supports the government’s efforts to develop e-governance and other monitoring mechanisms to increase the transparency and accountability of public services. It strengthens the capacity of state institutions and the private sector to fight against money laundering and the financing of terrorism. By promoting a participatory dialogue between the State Oil Fund, the private sector, and civil society, the Office also supports implementation of the Extractive Industry Transparency Initiative, an international standard that ensures transparency around countries’ oil, gas and mineral resources.
