YEREVAN, 3 July 2014 – The OSCE Office in Yerevan announced today a call for civil society organizations to submit project concepts aimed at addressing environment and security challenges under the Civic Action for Security and Environment (CASE) small grants programme.
The main objective of the CASE programme is to promote the work of civil society organizations and their collaboration with key stakeholders on environment-related projects.
The proposals must address prevention of, risk reduction of and response to natural disasters. The cross-cutting themes include such areas as environmental governance, social aspects of environmental security, role and participation of women and youth.
Civil society organizations are encouraged to submit project concepts to the OSCE Office in Yerevan, Economic-Environmental Unit at 64/1 Sundukyan Str. 0012, Yerevan or via e-mail to CASE-AM@osce.org by 20 July 2014.
For more information on the application procedures, please refer to the Call for Project Concept Papers, application guidelines, project concept paper format and the checklist.
The CASE programme is a part of the Environment and Security (ENVSEC) Initiative, a partnership between the OSCE, the UN Development Programme, the UN Environment Programme, the UN Economic Commission for Europe and the Regional Environmental Centre for Central and Eastern Europe, with NATO as an associate member.
