The "Bishkek International Conference on Enhancing Security and Stability in Central Asia: Strengthening Comprehensive Efforts to Counter Terrorism" provided a first opportunity to discuss concrete experiences in combating international terrorism.
The resulting documents, the Bishkek Declaration and the Bishkek Programme of Action, appealed to States to take immediate concrete and comprehensive action against terrorism.
