The OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Ukraine will conduct an annual meeting for consular officials on combating trafficking in human beings.
The roundtable will gather newly appointed representatives of visa sections of relevant foreign embassies and consulates in Ukraine in order to increase their awareness of the problem of trafficking in persons and to receive updates on possible ways to identify and assist potential trafficked persons.
The annual event serves as a platform for the relevant foreign visa/consular officers to exchange with Ukrainian officials on ways to co-operate and ensure an effective exchange of information on the suspected practices of traffickers.
