Research of the existing practices and legislation of Ukraine in the area of funding of civil society organisations by government bodies, local authorities and the private sector

The Research done by the Institute of Rural Development as commissioned by OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Ukraine provides an overview and detailed analysis of Ukrainian laws regulating civil society funding and taxation issues with focus on problematic issues relating to application of legal provisions to practice. It also contains recommendations as to improvement of the existing regulatory framework in line with the best international practices, the need for consistency and effectiveness in fostering sustainable development and financial independence of civil society organisations.
