This seminar will provide officers from Ukraine’s Security Service, including from the Lviv Oblast, as well as from the Security Service’s special divisions in other western oblasts, to learn about the OSCE’s security-related activities.
Participants will discuss the three OSCE dimensions of security as the key components of European security, the history of the development of the idea of a security space from Vancouver to Vladivostok, OSCE commitments in the human dimension, commitments related to freedom of the media, the role of the Organization and its opportunities, the OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Ukraine’s activities in the fields of anti-trafficking and elections.
The seminar is part of the OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Ukraine’s Project “Support to Effective Response to Terrorism and Transnational Organized Crime Challenges to the National Security of Ukraine”.
