Switzerland provides accommodation modules for OSCE monitors in Ukraine

  • The Swiss Ambassador to Ukraine Guillaume Scheurer presented the Chief Monitor of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine Ertugrul Apakan with two accommodation modules to house monitors working in the east. (OSCE/Evgeniy Maloletka)

  • Each module sleeps two people and is furnished with beds, wardrobes, lighting as well as heating and air conditioning units. They can be connected to the local power grid or to generators, depending on what is available. (OSCE/Evgeniy Maloletka)

On 15 March 2016, in Kyiv, the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine (SMM) received two accommodation modules provided by Switzerland.

The accommodation modules are planned to be deployed to the team based at the SMM Forward Patrol Base in Stanytsia Luhanska. >>Learn more here
