Hungary
Hungary is one of the original 35 signatories to the 1975 Helsinki Final Act and an early participant in the original CSCE negotiations in 1973. In addition, the country assumed the OSCE Chairpersonship in 1995. Hungary is represented by a Permanent Mission to the OSCE in Vienna.

Every year, the political leadership of the OSCE rotates among the Organization's participating States. The country taking over the OSCE Chair co-ordinates activities and provides political direction throughout that year.
