Participation in the Forum is open to everyone interested in making Ukrainian non-governmental sector more professional and influential, so the event involves representatives of Ukrainian civic organizations, state and local authorities, volunteers, activists and benefactors, media, business community, and donor institutions.
The OSCE Secretariat Extra-Budgetary Support Programme for Ukraine contributes to the work of the Forum and jointly with the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine (SCMU) is organizing a side event “Planning the Future of the State Policy Promoting Civil Society Development in Ukraine” on 6 December 2023. This workshop is part of the assistance provided to the government in implementation of the National Strategy for the Development of Civil Society in Ukraine in 2021-2026 (Strategy). Its participants will use the event to formulate proposals regarding measures that may be included into the 2025-2026 Action Plan for the implementation of the Strategy. They will review the progress of the Strategy implementation until now and discuss priority tasks that need to be included in the new action plan for 2025–2026, with due regard to the context of the challenges of ongoing war.
