Lviv Criminal Justice Forum is one of the flagship annual OSCE-supported events in Ukraine in the sphere of Rule of Law. The Forum provides a platform for critical review of the current issues of criminal justice reform with the focus on policymaking and legislative aspects of combating serious crime. These discussions will gather judges, law enforcement officials, practitioners, and representatives from the academia.
This year the Forum will focus on the following:
- Critical infrastructure as a target of military aggression;
- International criminal law VS national criminal law in the matters of war and peace;
- Challenges of investigation of criminal offenses by the State Bureau of Investigation under the conditions imposed by the martial law;
- Transitional Justice.
One of the panels will also focus on gender-based violence in times of war.
Participants are welcome to attend the event online or in-person by filling in the registration form. Registration of speakers closes on 15 September 2023, speakers' registration form is here.
