The Common Core Document was adopted by the Serbian Government on 18 August 2010, and is part of Serbia's obligation under the reform of the UN treaty reporting system. The implementation of the Common Core Document in Serbia and its inclusion of the ministries and civil society represent the significant achievement of the country in fulfilling its human rights commitments. It also reflects the great attainment of the Mission in supporting the human rights movement in Serbia.
