About
The OSCE flagship projects focusing on gender equality, WIN and CHANGE, are organizing a conference entitled “Women and Men: working together for equal rights”. This event seeks to strengthen male engagement, provide new energy and tools for already existing practices, and raise awareness of good practices within the OSCE region.
The conference will take place on 5-6 December 2023 in Warsaw (Poland).
OSCE is looking for individuals and organizations deeply committed to gender equality, with a proven history of engaging men in gender equality policy, and best practices to share.
Objectives
During the conference participants will:
- Engage with other experts and practitioners in the field of gender equality from different sectors;
- Learn from successful case studies and emerging good practices;
- Participate in interactive workshops and discussions;
- Network with like-minded individuals and organizations.
The conference will be highly interactive, and all participants are encouraged to share their experiences and recommendations throughout the different plenary and working group sessions.
The working language of the conference is English.
Eligibility & Selection Criteria
- For individuals: applicants must be a national of or working in one of the OSCE participating States; for organizations: the organization should be registered in one of the OSCE participating States;
- The ability to communicate effectively in English;
- Demonstrated commitment to gender equality and proven history of work on engaging men in gender equality.
