Parties to the Article IV arms control talks to attend plenary meeting

VIENNA, 28 February 1996 - A plenary meeting with the parties to the negotiations on sub-regional arms control is scheduled for tomorrow, 29 February at 10:00 at the Hofburg Congress Centre. All five parties, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Republic of Croatia, the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia and Republika Srpska, have confirmed their attendance.
The negotiations are being held under the auspices of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) and are called for under Article IV (Annex 1-B) of the Agreement on Regional Stablization of the General Framework Agreement for Peace in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The negotiations, which will conclude no later than 6 June, are chaired by Ambassador Vigleik Eide (Norway), who was appointed by the OSCE Chairman-in-Office as Personal Representative.
