About
The 1st Eastern European Informal Working Group (IWG) will be a discussion platform, which will allow participants to share good practices and lessons learned; methodologies in data collection from travelers; and, security analysis across different travel modalities. Ultimately, this IWG will support States in implementing UN Security Council Resolution 2396, which mandates all States to collect and analyze passenger data for preventing the return of foreign terrorist fighters (FTFs).
The event is intended for expert-level officials who either will be or have been involved in the establishment of national API/PNR; representatives from national targeting centers and/or Passenger Information Units (PIU).
