Women, Peace and Security - 20 years on

20 years ago, the United Nations Security Council adopted Resolution 1325 on Women, Peace and Security (UNSCR 1325). It was the first international agreement recognizing that armed conflict affects women differently from men and calling for the meaningful participation of women in peace processes.
