Words matter
Professional journalism can make a difference: words matter, especially when reporting on such sensitive topics as violent extremism and terrorism. Zukhra Iakupbaeva, a young independent journalist from Kyrgyzstan, shares her #UnitedCVE story.
Zukhra joined the “Youth and the Prevention of Violent Extremism: Perspectives from the Central Asian Region” workshop, organized by the Austrian OSCE Chairmanship and held under the umbrella of the “OSCE United in Countering Violent Extremism (#UnitedCVE)” campaign .
