Peer-2-Peer: Voices Against Extremism

What can you do to help build more resilient communities and prevent violent extremism? The #UnitedCVE P2P finalist team from Simon Fraser University, Canada, shares how they created their own campaign: Voices Against Extremism.

Universities from across OSCE participating States were invited to join the #UnitedCVE ‘Peer-2-Peer (P2P): Challenging extremism’ competition during the Autumn Term of this year, and the three top teams, from Canada, Slovenia and Sweden, were shortlisted to pitch their campaigns live during the 23rd OSCE Ministerial Council in Hamburg, in front of a jury of OSCE senior officials and ambassadors from OSCE participating States.

The competition was organized on 7-8 December under the umbrella of the OSCE United in Countering Violent Extremism (#UnitedCVE) campaign by the OSCE delegations of the United States of America, Austria and France, as well as Facebook and EdVenture Partners.
