Story
#LetsDoodle: Come to the Peace Side

The OSCE launched the #LetsDoodle contest in partnership with eYeka, a global community of talented creators, asking artists to create a cartoon character challenging violent extremism with creativity, imagination and humour. A total of 29 creative concepts from 16 OSCE participating States and Partners for Co-operation were received in support of the OSCE United in Countering Violent Extremism (#UnitedCVE) communications campaign. Peno Mishoyan from Armenia won the 2d prize in the #LetsDoodle competition with his ‘Come to the Peace Side’ concept.
The Pigeon Legion was created by Peno Mishoyan from Armenia, who won the 2d prize in the #LetsDoodle competition.
Comprised of the Teacher Preacher, Peace Guard and Media Master, the Pigeon Legion works with communities to help prevent violent extremism.
Stereotypes and binary thinking of “us” vs. “them” is easy, but misleading. “It’s not all black-and-white,” reminds us the Pigeon Legion.
The Pigeon Legion has a mission to peacefully challenge violent extremism and inspire others to stand united, strong, confident and cheerful, just as they do.
