Advancing the Quality of Justice by Empowering the Supreme Court’s Role in Delivering Transparent, Accountable and Inclusive Justice

The project aims to enhance the quality of justice by strengthening the operations of the Supreme Court (SC) to ensure transparent, accountable and inclusive adjudication in line with international standards. Supporting justice sector reforms and strengthening public confidence in the judicial system will contribute to Ukraine’s resilience during the ongoing war and future post-war reconstruction. To this end, the project l seeks to achieve the following results:  

1. The SC’s institutional capacity to adjudicate in a transparent, accountable and inclusive manner is enhanced, enabling greater coherence and uniformity of judicial practice.
2. The SC’s infrastructure and its staff’s digital competency are enhanced.
3. Awareness among justice sector stakeholders of key aspects of judicial reform, as well as the SC’s communication capacity is enhanced.
4. Engagement of young legal professionals and universities in promoting judicial transparency, inclusivity, and alignment with international standards is fostered.
