The purpose of the event is to provide a platform for civil society organizations to discuss its role in the current situation, to define current priorities, and to find points of contact and vision for restoration of Ukraine and further development of the civil society. The Conference will bring together key stakeholders, including the civil society organizations, representatives of the government and local authorities, national and international donors, business, international media.

The OSCE Project Co-ordinator supports the conference inter alia by organising two in-person side events for civil society in Lviv:

The Conference is orgnanised by the Initiative Center to Support Social Action "Ednannia" (ISAR Ednannia, Ukraine) and the Foundation for Development of Educational System (FRSE, Poland) with the financial support of the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine and the Black Sea Trust for Regional Cooperation, a Project of the German Marshall Fund. Conference co-partners are USAID Ukraine Civil Society Sectoral Support Activity, European Union within the project "EU Emergency Support 4 Civil Society" and the OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Ukraine.
