The event aims to raise awareness of gender-sensitive constitutionalism among stakeholders, including the Constitutional Court of Ukraine staff, government officials, civil society and the legal community. The forum will bring together leading national and international experts on gender issues to discuss the challenges and achievements in the field of gender equality in Ukraine, including those related to the constitutional jurisprudence, exchange experience and share international best practices.

The event will also provide an opportunity to present the results of the project's efforts on achieving gender equality, highlight the relevance of gender equality issues in the constitutional case law and promote wider adoption of the gender-sensitive approaches.

The initiative is part of the project "Support to Ukraine’s Human Rights Protection by Enhancing Accessibility of Constitutional Justice" implemented by the OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Ukraine in co-operation with the Constitutional Court of Ukraine with the financial support of the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany.
