Representatives of political parties, civil society and election observers are invited to attend public presentation of the software application “Constructor of Documents for Local Elections”, organized by the Central Election Commission in partnership with the OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Ukraine.
Based on 2020 Local Elections lessons learnt, the OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Ukraine developed software application for improving quality of election documentation submitted by the political parties, candidates, observers to election commissions. The use of the Constructor will help to minimize the number of omissions/mistakes in election documents submitted by the participants of electoral process. The Constructor’s functionality allows users to create, fill and check in total 56 election document-forms, approved by the CEC Regulations #137 and 138 from 24 July 2020 and #147 and 177 from 14 August 2020. The application will be available during election process at online training platform Vyborkom here: https://www.vyborkom.org/kb/assets/constructor/#/.
During the public presentation, developers will address questions raised by participants on Constructor functionality and possibilities of its usage during interim and early local elections due in October 2021.
For participation in the event, please fill the application form and short-survey (in Ukrainian).
Questions and additional information requests should be referred to Igor.Tkachenko@osce.org or Vira.Martyniuk@osce.org.
The software was developed in the framework of the project "Enhancing cybersecurity and transparency of election process in Ukraine" implemented by the OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Ukraine in partnership with the Central Election Commission under the financial support of the Mission of the US to OSCE, Permanent mission of the Slovak Republic to OSCE, Government of Germany and Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Norway.
