The OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Ukraine invites journalists and bloggers to participate in a press tour and training on the subject of environmental impact of military action. Local and international experts will provide an opportunity to learn more about environmental problems of conflict-affected areas, role of media in disaster prevention, ways of producing quality journalistic materials on environmental issues.
The event, organized in co-operation with Zoi Environmental Network and Swiss weekly WOZ die Wochenzeitung, will take place in eastern Ukraine, participants will be able to visit facilities that suffered from hostilities and thus may bear heightened environmental risks.
Participants will be selected on competition basis, media professionals can apply for participation by filling out the registration form by 29 September 2019. More details are available in detailed Call for Application in Ukrainian language.
