Facilitating dialogue on conflict-prone issues requires genuine understanding of local realities as well as skills to ensure effective communication with parties to dialogue. The OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Ukraine supports the development of a Ukrainian community of dialogue practicioners and offers an opportunity to participate in an-person training "How to Plan and Conduct a Dialogue Effectively" which complements the online course of that name.
In the course of the training participants will gain:
- practical skills of managing conflict situations;
- communication techniques for the establishment of mutual understanding;
- skills to plan and conduct a dialogue.

Dialogue is a process of organized and professionally managed communication aimed at transforming relations among and between people and institutions. Dialogue is not about striving to achieve agreement or uniformity of views. Its purpose is to help participants with diverse or even conflicting views understand each other's perspective, thus enabling them improve relations, accept divergences, and interact in a constructive and peaceful way, towards seeking solutions.
