Facilitating dialogue on conflict-prone issues requires a high level of skills and genuine understanding of local realities. The Co-ordinator supports the development of a Ukrainian community of dialogue facilitators and provides an additional opportunity for those wishing to understand and practice how dialogue works: a 3-days training "How to plan and conduct dialogue effectively" is to take place in Kyiv, on 06-08 December 2018. This opportunity will provide:
- practical skills of managing conflict situation
- communication technics for establishing mutual understanding
- skills to plan and conduct dialogue
Potential applicants wishing to participate in the training first need to complete on-line course at Prometheus platform, developed with the support of the OSCE Project Co-ordinator and get a certificate! Dialogue is a process of organized and professionally managed communication aimed at transforming relations among and between people and institutions. Dialogue is not about striving to achieve agreement or uniformity of views. Its purpose is to help participants with diverse or even conflicting views understand each other's perspective, thus enabling them improve relations, accept divergences, and interact in a constructive and peaceful way, towards seeking solutions.
