Mine Action Regional Dialogue Event on Contamination of Territories with Mines and Explosive Remnants of War (ERW) in Ukraine

Organized by
The purpose of the event taking place in the east of Ukraine is to bring together representatives of conflict-affected communities and mine action agencies, including central authorities, to identify current needs and necessities of locals, as well as ways to address those needs. The following topics will be discussed:
- identification of territories that are suspected to be contaminated with mines/ERW
- marking of those areas;
- Mine Risk Education;
- Regional Mine Action priority setting.
This activity is part of the project «Building Ukrainian Humanitarian Mine Action Capacity» implemented with financial support of Global Affairs Canada and the governments of the United Kingdom and United States.
