Representatives of state authorities and civil society organizations (CSO) will review and discuss the Draft Law on Public Consultations; the document proposes regulatory framework for public consultation procedures as regards decisions to be made by authorities. The Draft Law was developed by a working group supported by the OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Ukraine. The agenda covers the following aspects:

  • Presentation of the main provisions of the Draft Law on Public Consultations;
  • Presentation of the legal opinions on the Draft law on Public Consultations of the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights and the European Center for Not-for-Profit Law;
  • Panel discussions on the Draft Law.

The event is a part of joint efforts of the OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Ukraine and the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine with the support of the Ministry of Justice.
