Prior to taking up the agenda, the Chairperson, on behalf of the Permanent Council, welcomed the new Permanent Representative of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the OSCE, H.E. Ambassador Sanjin Halimović. The Chairperson, Azerbaijan, the United States of America, the Russian Federation, Luxembourg-European Union, Norway, the Holy See, the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Ukraine and Canada extended their condolences to the families of the victims of the terrorist attack in Suruç, Turkey.
