About
The aim of this conference is to improve the security of women and girls. Discussions will focus on combating violence against women and girls, preventing the exploitation of women for terrorist purposes and all forms of trafficking in human beings, and promoting the economic empowerment of women. The conference will also provide opportunities for an exchange of views on lessons learned and emerging challenges from an Asian-Pacific perspective.
The opening and closing sessions will be open to the media.
