Latest approaches to psychosocial support for children and adults affected by the war will be in focus of the international conference “Strong Together: Psychosocial Support for Children, Adults and Communities in Times of War”, to be held in Kyiv on 2 December 2025.
The event will bring together representatives of state institutions, international organizations, donors and local authorities to exchange experiences, present practical solutions and discuss the challenges that social sphere professionals, psychologists, communities and families face today. Special attention will be paid to the resilience of communities, the availability of psychosocial support and the development of services focused on the needs of children.
The conference program includes:
- panel discussions with international and Ukrainian experts on approaches to providing psychosocial support;
- presentation of the accomplishments by the projects of the OSCE Support Programme for Ukraine in the domain of “Human Security”;
- two parallel working groups dedicated to practical solutions for social work professionals and the experience of implementing children's spaces of psychosocial support "Tviy" in communities;
- informal communication and the opportunity to establish professional contacts.
