Providing Social Services and Psychological Support to Children Affected by the War. Training for Social Workers from Zakarpattia Region

Within the framework of the joint project with the National Social Service of Ukraine "Building the capacities of national and local partners in providing psychological support and social protection to children", the OSCE Support Program for Ukraine organises a series of regional trainings for social workers on providing social and psychological support to children who suffered from the war.
The training aims to provide information on the specifics of establishing the status of a child who has suffered as a result of hostilities and armed conflicts; on ways to provide psychological support for children during the status registration; on peculiarities of ensuring the rights of a child who has returned from deportation.
The next training will take place from 18 to 20 November in Vinnytsia (the exact location of the event will be announced later) for social workers of the Zakarpattia region involved in providing social and psychological support to the population.
Travel, accommodation, and other expenses related to participation in the training will be covered by the OSCE Support Program for Ukraine. The event will be held in compliance with all necessary safety standards.
To participate in the competitive selection of participants, it is necessary to fill out the application form by following the link until 25 October 2024 (11:59 p.m.).
