Lviv Criminal Justice Forum is one of the flagship annual OSCE-supported events in Ukraine in the sphere of Rule of Law. The Forum provides a platform for critical review of the current issues of criminal justice reform with the focus on policymaking and legislative aspects of combating serious crime. These discussions will gather judges, law enforcement officials, practitioners, and representatives from the academia.
This year the Forum will focus on the following:
- 5 Years of Work on Draft of the New Criminal Code of Ukraine;
- Mobilization Measures in the Paradigm of Human Rights;
- Prospects of Ensuring Access to Justice Through Formation of Military Justice Bodies in Ukraine;
- Actual Issues of Current Judicial Career Procedures;
- Criminal Offense: Classification and Degrees of Severity, Types of Damage.
One of the panels will also focus on gender aspects of criminal justice.
