Our mandate on security sector reform and co-operation

The OSCE’s activities in setting out basic norms for the democratic control of armed and security forces, as well as ensuring human rights and fundamental freedoms for armed forces personnel, are based on the normative framework enshrined in the Code of Conduct on Politico-Military Aspects of Security.
